The SA features either a 384x288 or 640x480 sensor resolution. Another important technical specification is the Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) rating. This is one of the most important technical specifications for any thermal device. NETD indicates how small of a thermal difference the device can detect in the environment. The SA is an incredible ≤25mK. It also features a 12µm pixel pitch which is a measurement of the distance between the pixels of the digital image. Most thermal units on the market today are either 12µm or 17µm, with 12µm being the highest quality.

Self-activated recording provides an ongoing 20 seconds loop that is saved to the onboard RAM memory of the device. When recoil is detected, the RAM video is automatically moved to the removable Micro SD card. SA is available in 4 different objective lens diameters. Choose from 19mm, 25mm, 35mm or 45mm options. Smaller lenses have a wider Field of View (FOV) while the larger lenses offer additional magnification but a smaller FOV.
The 100-lumen integrated flashlight provides auxiliary lighting for nighttime use.
The SA scope can withstand up to 6000J of force.
Multiple scene modes provide the ability to choose an image that is best suited to the environmental characteristics.
