Visible light is faint at night, but invisible infrared ray is still abundant. Infrared night vision helps people to observe, search, aim and drive vehicles at night. It has active type and passive type. The active type illuminates the target with an infrared searchlight and receives the reflected infrared radiation to form an image.
The passive type does not emit infrared light, relying on the target’s own infrared radiation to form a “thermal image”, so also known as “thermal imager”.
Because there is an absolute temperature in nature (minus 273.15 degrees Celsius), any object above this temperature radiates infrared light outward. Thermal imaging scopes work by detecting differences in heat energy and then showing these differences on a screen. This allows the hunter to spot animals in the dark and can even be used to detect objects in dense foliage or behind obstacles.
With both of these types of scope, hunters can identify animals in the dark easily and accurately. This gives them a serious advantage when hunting, as they can identify game more quickly and accurately, thus increasing their chances of a successful hunt.
After more than a decade of technology accumulation, PARD has been able to provide hunters with these night vision and thermal imaging products. PARD has self-developed ballistic calculation system, which can achieve a hit to zero, accurate calculation, integrated IR design, and lighter for more convenient. The product has multiple sizes of objective lens to meet different observation needs, silent button, no more worry about disturbing the prey. The use of the eyepiece can be adjusted diopter, to meet different vision people naked eye observation experience. Also, it has an overall ranging function, real-time display of the target distance; display can reach 800X800 screen resolution, high-definition screen at any time to enjoy, the picture is smooth and not lag. The use of products in the hunting can achieve video and photography two in one, at any time to recall the wonderful moment, can be connected to WIFI to smart devices, to achieve mobile synchronous viewing.
The Great British Shooting Awards 2022 attracted participation from the global shooting industry, the UK shooting community, and a wide range of international shooters and enthusiasts. Among the many thermal imaging and night vision product brands, PARD’s night vision product NV007A won the “Night Vision Product of the Year” award.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that PARD has won an honor related to the British Shooting Competition, as early as 2021, PARD night vision product NV008P has won the Night Vision Product of the Year Award.
Within five years of the competition’s launch, PARD night vision products have won the Night Vision Product of the Year award for two consecutive years. It represents that PARD has never stopped on the way of continuous innovation and development, always striving for excellence and surpassing itself.
With more than 10 years of experience in the field, PARD is a night vision and thermal imaging specialist who pioneers microlight night vision and infrared imaging technology to provide long-range, high-definition, and high-precision hunting gears.
